Residence for sale.
The owner is obliged to provide the buyer with the energy certificate and report that it exists when the property is advertised. When the sale is made, the owner must provide the buyer with the full original energy certificate.
Residence rented out for the use of others.
This case is similar to that of an owner who sells the residence. That is to say, the owner must be in possession of the energy certificate, except when there is already a tenant in residence. In that case, it need not be requested until the current tenant leaves and the next arrives.
